Designed by TORAFU ARCHITECTS in collaboration with Audo, the Ishinomaki Duo Stools are a testament to the power of simplicity and innovation. Originating from Ishinomaki Laboratory’s post-earthquake recovery efforts in Japan, these stools are crafted from locally grown Danish Douglas fir and feature a DIY-inspired, flatpack design. The untreated finish allows for customization, while the exposed screws and handcrafted look emphasize the beauty of functional simplicity. Available in two sizes, these versatile stools can be used individually or combined to create a wider seat, offering flexibility and style to any space.
